The repetition of abstract shapes on Ikat pillowcases gives the additional range a special quality. These pillowcases are inspired by the patterns of original ornaments from Malene Birger's experiences with oriental iconography; but also refers to the playful graphic side of her work.

Malene Birger has designed the ADDITIONAL range for NEW WORKS, with inspiration from her versatile practice and the individual qualities of the materials and techniques used in each of the objects. The range has her signature tones and patterns and should be seen as an addition to the NEW WORKS collection.
