Axel & Ida was founded in 2003 by Maria Nygårds and Sofia Smedshammar. They named the company after their own children and want to offer their customers products with excellent design and function. The target group is active parents in Scandinavia and their first product which was a sun protection for children in prams represented their guiding principles of quality and smart design.
